A new year, a new challenge
With last year's bee blocks tucked safely away in their ziploc bag (on the way to becoming yet another UFO,) my bee has started a new challenge.

This one uses calculator tape on a roll as a foundation for using up still more scraps. I like these scrap challenges as I will not run out of resources any time soon. Our tape is 2.75 inches wide.
Rules are: follow directions on blue card and stitch up 1 yard of tape leaving a generous seam allowance hanging off either side.
Last challenge we passed them around alphabetically. This time we tossed them all in the floor and grabbed someone else's. I picked up Jan L's. She wants mostly greens, some browns, wacky cuts, no novelty fabrics, and maximum width of 1.25 inches.
I think I will draw off lines on the back of my strip so I don't have to think too much and will come out with exactly what she is looking for.
In the end, we should all come away with at least 8 yards of wonderful scrappy strips.

Good luck!
Oh, and btw - I accepted YOUR challenge and got my sewing machine out today. Thanks for the nudge! :-)
