Aunt Donna scraps continued...
So, here are some more pictures of the scrap projects I have been working on. They are pictured on my design wall in their likely final arrangement. I love having a digital camera to help with placement decisions!
The first one is all floral fabrics. I'm really loving this diamond thing. If you look toward the bottom, you see that the right side is slightly different from the left. I haven't made up my mind, but I think I like the left side better. Opinions?
For the time being, this next one is called "Aunt Donna visits an Italian market" It is a pattern Gwen and I call Farmer's Market. I don't think that is the actual name of the design, but it comes from an Aunt Donna quilt Gwen made. This is just in the beginning stages. It is all Italian food fabrics. Gwen's quilt is picture below mine. Isn't it stunning! My blocks will be bigger and I won't have as many. You'll have to come back later to see its progression.
This one is all berries and apples and baking fabrics with a great pie crust piece thrown in. Don't have a title yet, but be sure it will have Aunt Donna in it.
So you can see I've done a lot of cutting. They will get bagged up for completion at a later time, but I have to say I'm having so much fun making them all work together.
